WHAT JOURNALISTS ARE FOR: A FRENCH–AMERICAN COMPARISON

This project, led by Center co-director Matt Powers and Sandra Vera-Zambrano (Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City), asks how journalists in France and the United States react to the economic, political, social, and technological transformations that confront them. Drawing on in-depth interviews with journalists, this research aims to provide an empirical answer to a long-standing and increasingly pressing question: namely, what journalists are for.
