Last week, CJMD hosted Public Media Under Pressure, a sobering yet productive conversation with Seattle-area public media presidents Rob Dunlop, Cascade PBS; David Fischer, KNKX; and Tina Pamintuan, KUOW.
Together with CJMD co-director Matt Powers, panelists discussed the growing challenges facing public media, including threats to federal funding. The conversation offered both a candid look at the obstacles ahead and a hopeful vision for how public media can continue to serve the public good. Speakers included
